Frequently Asked Questions

Are you affiliated with a particular denomination?

Yes.  Grace Fellowship is a part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).  If you are interested in knowing more about the PCA, you can visit the denomination's official web site, which is located at www.pcanet.org.

How should I dress for worship?

You may dress in whatever way seems good to you.  The majority of our attenders will dress in casual attire for worship, but you should feel free to dress up if you so desire.  A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself whether your attire might genuinely be a distraction to others who are worshipping.  If not, you should feel free to dress according to the constraints of your conscience.

What do you offer for children and youth?

We offer Sunday school classes for all ages (from infants through seniors).  During the worship service, we have a nursery for 0 - 2 years old, children's church for 3 years - 1st grade, and a special children's worship bulletin for elementary children who remain in the worship service.  During summers we hold a "Bible Club" for children, which is similar to a traditional Vacation Bible School program.  We have an active youth group made up of both Junior High and Senior High Students.

What sort of music should I expect?

We utilize a full band with a variety of different instruments in our worship services.  Some of our songs are upbeat and celebratory, while others are more reflective.

Quoted

" If Christianity is about anything, it is about forgiveness. Christianity is not about getting better. It is not about tips and techniques to help you yell at your children less, become financially secure, or become more fulfilled in life. And it is not about feeling better or about doing better . It is about being forgiven. It is nothing more (or nothing less) than a lifetime of living out the implications of our redemption, of the fact that God knows all of our failures and fears, all of our doubt and confusion, all of the hurt that we have absorbed and all the hurt that we have dished out, and yet he is still with us. He doesn’t abandon us. He loves us and he forgives us…. Christianity is about forgiveness and grace and mercy and Jesus and the cross. Our task is to believe that forgiveness (and grace and mercy and Jesus and the cross) is enough. "
